A picture walk thru of a front disc brake install on 61-67 Ford Econoline front end. Disassemble brakes down to the bare spindle. Press the hub assembly from the brake drum. Remove the old lug studs from the hub. Check the fit of the hub in the new rotor. Hub should slide right into place. Install new longer lug studs in hub. New caliper bracket and caliper assy. New caliper bracket installed on splindle. New hub and rotor assy installed on splindle. Inside view of new hub and rotor assy installed on splindle. View of caliper and rotor assy installed on splindle. Calipers and Rotors are standard over the counter parts. The only fabricated part is the caliper bracket. The only modification is enlarging lug stud holes for larger lug studs in hub. |
