Jack and Ted in the back of the pickup As mentioned earlier, two people were always riding in the pickup bed. Jack and I took the first shift in the back and had a chance to talk awhile before getting to sleep.

We set out on the tour This was a tour on Prince William Sound. We had arrived in Valdez late the night before, and were up early to make the boat.

Alaska fishermen This was a fishing boat that we spent a little time watching. The fishing boat put out a net and then "circled the wagons" to gather up the fish.

Pulling in the catch After surrounding the fish with the net, they were hoisted aboard.
